Cherry recently pointed out that our blog's popularity has been increasing lately as the recent traffic map (at left) from FEEDJIT shows. Sure, we are pleased by the exposure we are getting and we anticipate this will lead to our first grad student applications from students in Kuwait and the Ukraine in the near future.
But, what's going on with Greenland?
They share an ice-like environment with Logan in January, yet not one individual out of your population of 56,344 even has set foot near our 'popular' blog! This is disheartening. Did we offend you Greenland? We in the lab have always thought highly of you, but for you to ignore us this way, just doesn't feel right.
I always longed to do my sabbatical there but your recent behavior is making me reconsider. So, this is our mission - we want just one of you Greenlanders to pay us a visit, you don't have to stay long, just pop in. It doesn't even have to be one of your more popular people, we aren't picky. No advance notice needed, our door is always open for you. We want to see your proud flag on our traffic statistics! C'mon, you know you want to, quit being so stubborn.

We almost posted at the same time~ BUT, you beat me for only 2 min ahead!
And we will have a lot of new posts, hopefully. (I have shared my experience with Tian~)
"we are not picky"-- you must be kidding... please, please pick another country...
I don't think we are asking much - just one lousy visitor from a country of 677,676 sq mi... I won't rest until we get that flag on our traffic map.
..it's been a few days; c'mon Greenlanders pay us a visit. Don't make me look for another country!
It's a shame Greenland has yet to discover the magic that is the TASTEMAN, but props to Bangladesh and the Czech Republic for holding it down.
Currently struggling not to let all of this fame go to my head... interested in how the rest of you are handling stardom?
It's hard to enjoy any of the fame & glory when one country decides to ignore us so callously.
Everyday when I look at the visitor log and no one from Greenland has visited it's like a dagger in the heart. You'd think a place that calls itself Kalaallit Nunaat - "the Land of People" would make a little effort to be neighborly and pay us a visit.
No offense to our other visitors (we appreciate all of you), but until a Greenlander visits, I can't consider us truly popular.
